Merrell Family: Capturing Personality

Every season of life is full of unique challenges and victories that give it personality. As the seasons of life change, the memories that created the personality of each season fade. The way photography speaks into this reality creates the foundation of my passion for this amazing art. In every snapshot, I strive not just to capture a moment, but to immortalize an emotion, making each memory timeless.

The Merrell family is a gift to all who have the opportunity to cross paths with them. Four beautiful children and two dogs, we were together for just over an hour for this shoot. The hour included family shots with the family dogs, without the dogs, kids only, couple only, and individual shots of the kids. Then there was a wardrobe change for a typical day-in-the-life family shot.

Laughter & Personality

We combined the eyes-open and all looking in the same direction, aside from the dogs, with the personality-capturing moments marked by laughter, awkward faces, and even dog wrangling. Most importantly, we made an investment that led to making this season of life a timeless memory.
